Work Service Tripled Net Profit

In the first quarter of 2017, Work Service recorded PLN 12.4 million in consolidated net profit. This is nearly three times more than a year earlier.

Group revenues increased by 11 percent to PLN 655.1 million, EBITDA by 44 percent to PLN 29.34 million, and operating profit by 51 percent to PLN 25.2 million.

In April, Maciej Witucki, President of Work Service, presented estimated financial data indicating PLN 22 million in operating profit in the first quarter. He estimated the full-year profit at PLN 85 million.

In 2016, the company had PLN 15.5 million in net profit. Its quotations had recently been falling significantly.
